- CEC-New Power Technologies (NPT)-Optimal Technologies project developed 13,000-bus WECC T-system model for “present” cases and entire PG&E T- system model for “future” cases, integrated with ~ 850-bus SVP system model combining T and primary D feeders, with nodes, components, loads, and resources modeled discretely, loaded onto AEMPFAST (now GRIDfast) software.
- Identified bus-specific optimal portfolio of localized VAr source recontrols, optimized DR, and optimally located and sized DG to reduce real and reactive losses, improve voltage profile, and enhance performance of integrated T&D system.
